National platforms for getting your voice heard - iReport

On CNN there is now a button at the top that says iReport and it is were everyday people can document their lives. Its the perfect place where you can see first hand what people experience and what goes on. Often when you watch the news you only hear one side of the story or you see the negative side. But with the news having to fulfill deadlines and making the bosses happy they tend to loose a level of edge. So the iReport system is a good way that new media has changed news and people. In the statement where CNN is explaining what iReport is it was said that " Together , CNN and iReport can paint a more complete picture of the news."I believe this is so true iReport is a great way for everyday people to use a national platform to get their point across.
So lets get started!
The only requirements are that you are over 13 , so this is a great way for middle school and high school students to get involved, and that you do not lie about your information.
As CNN says "News comes in all shapes and sizes, and the idea here at iReport is that the community will shape what counts as news." This is something I find really reassuring that now we are one step closer to having more control of whats going on.

Political Satire on Health care

In this photo you have to notice that on the bottom of the photo you can see obama care which shows that this is the potential health care that obama is proposing. In the picture the lady is saying that" the government bureaucrat will see you now" meaning that it will no longer be doctors seeing you but instead it will be officials that will mandate when and who will be seen. This of course is untrue political satire like this is used to appeal to people who are politically unaware.
